Apple Confirms 128GB Retina iPad. Due Febuary 5th

Apple on Tuesday announced plans to introduce a new fourth-generation iPad model with 128GB of storage, twice the capacity of its previous high end model. The new version goes on sale Feburary 5, 2013 for $799 for Wi-Fi only and $929 for the Wi-Fi + Cellular model. Besides the additional storage capacity, the iPad is a standard fourth-generation model. It comes equipped with a 9.7-inch “Retina” display with 2048×1536 pixel resolution. Under the hood is Apple’s A6X dual-core microprocessor, with quad-core graphics. The iPad comes with front and rear-facing cameras and a Lightning connector. Pricing & Availability The new 128GB versions of the fourth generation iPad will be available starting Tuesday, February 5, in black or white, for a suggested retail price of $799 (US) for the iPad with Wi-Fi model and $929 (US) for the iPad with Wi-Fi + Cellular model. Apple just reported the most profitable year of any company ever

Apple today posted its earnings for the final quarter of 2012, which was “disappointingly” the largest corporate earnings year in human history by a tidy margin, causing many investors to panic as Apple clearly circles the drain in what will be the first step in a short road to the demise of the most valuable company in the world (If Exxon hasn’t indeed surpassed it tomorrow morning). Apple’s 13.1B in earnings this quarter was the 4th largest of all time according to the same metric.
